Australia arrive in Bangladesh for T20I series

Australia cricket team arrived in Bangladesh today to take part in the first-ever bilateral T20I series between the two countries. The Australia team landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, having made their journey from the West Indies.

Cricket Australia (CA) had requested a few health protocols of their own to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) ahead of the series, with minimum officials around them in the airport upon arrival.

A special immigration arrangement was made for the visitors and the Australia team were on their way to their team hotel after submitting their passports. The Australia team would enter the bio-secure bubble in their hotel while their passports will be disinfected and returned in three days.

The five T20Is between Bangladesh and Australia will be played behind closed doors at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on August 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9 respectively, where the first match of the series is scheduled to begin from 6 pm.
